Introduction to Mindfulness meditation and self-compassion
Discover the beauty of being present through this 4-week course on compassion and everyday mindfulness.
In this short introductory course, you will learn about the basics of mindfulness meditation and how it can help you find more stillness and peace. You will learn how to direct your attention in a deliberate manner to focus on the present experience of your body, mind, and emotions. We will practice how to find and cultivate our inner resources, such as self-compassion, and will be introduced to the use of RAIN as a tool for emotional regulation and healing.
You will walk away with practical tools to start a mindfulness meditation practice of your own.
